Today's Outlook

Drizzle, Fog then More Rain on Sunday

The forecast for the rest of your Saturday has some patchy drizzle and fog. There is a chance you could see a light shower this afternoon. The bigger story is what fell overnight on that chilly pavement. That has frozen in a lot of spots and the only quick way to melt it is with some salt. Highs today will help a little as they'll bump up into the mid-40's by late in the day. Tonight, fog and drizzle will be hanging around as well as the chances of some light rain late. Overnight lows will stay well above freezing in the mid-40's. That means temps really won't drop tonight at all. Sunday goes downhill. That's going to be the start of our main batch of rain. This develops as the day wears on. It will stay in the form of liquid with highs around 50. More rain will fall as we head through Sunday night. It is possible we could end up with more than an inch of rain in some spots. Overnight lows will fall into the upper-30's. Monday will be windy and cooling down as the day wears on. With this cooling, rain that will be falling will be changing over to snow. We could see an inch of snow. This is a preliminary estimate as temperatures will be key to the changeover and snow amounts. Temps will start in the upper-30's, but then will be falling through the 30's as the day wears on. Monday night, some snow showers may still be hanging around. Here comes the chilly weather again with lows in the low-20's. Tuesday looks like we'll see a cold lull. We could see a few flurries with highs only in the upper-20's, again. Wednesday, we'll have a chance of some light snow. Highs will top out in the mid-30's. This chance of light snow continues into Thanksgiving. Highs that day will be in the upper-20's. Here comes the cold again for the end of the week into part of the weekend.
