Today's Outlook

Rain Tonight & Thursday

The forecast for Milwaukee, Waukesha and SE Wisconsin is for a chilly day with highs in the 40s along the lakefront, and lower 50s inland thanks to a NE wind at 5-10 mph.  Clouds do increase this afternoon from showers that are in Minnesota and Iowa, and the rain won't get here until after 5pm.

Showers are likely tonight with lows in the upper 30s, and the showers continue off an on throughout the day on Thursday.  There is also a chance for a few rumbles of thunder in the afternoon with total rain accumulations from a half to as much as an inch by Thursday evening.  Thursday will also be windy and warmer with SE wind gusts to 30 mph, and high temperatures in the mid to upper 50s...obviously cooler at the lake.

The rain finally tapers off Thursday night with lows in the 40s.  The mild start, along with gusty westerly winds up to 30 mph, means highs get into the lower 60s on Friday.  There is just an isolated chance for a pop up shower in the afternoon.

A cold front moves though Friday evening  and colder air moves in for the weekend and next week.  Saturday is partly cloudy with a high of 46, and Sunday has more clouds and scattered showers with highs in the mid 40s.
