Today's Outlook

Dramatic Drop!

After an absolutely exceptional stretch of early autumn weather conditons, a powerful cold front shoved into the area last evening producing some showers and sending our temperatures into a nosedive.  With a chilly air mass in place and plenty of early clouds, readings won't recover very much through the day today as Northeasterly breezes help limit the mercury in the mid to upper 50s.  That's about 10 degrees below average and almost 25 degrees lower than just yesterday!  Meantime, with weak high pressure in place, we'll have a quiet day ahead with more sunshine breaking through the clouds as the day progresses.  The reverse will be true tomorrow as the skies get increasingly greyer ahead of the next storm system which should start producing rain as soon as tomorrow night and especially Thursday into Thursday night.
