Today's Outlook

Awesome Autumn Arrival

It's the first full day of astronomical Autumn!  A large ridge is building over the center of the nation.  That combined with high pressure at the surface will lead to an extended period of dry weather with plenty of daytime sunshine and starry skies at night.  With the surface high easing to our East, we'll notice a return flow of Southwesterly breezes helping to boost our temperatures back into the low 70s, especially inland, for the rest of the week.  A weak wiggle in the atmosphere will approach us from the West by Wednesday night leading to a few more clouds which could linger into Thursday.  Otherwise, there's going to be an abundance of sunshine and dry weather as a remarkable early Autumn stretch continues.
