Hales Corners native Tim Smyczek had a breakthrough this year as a pro tennis player.
Rising from below 200 to 73rd in the world, Smyczek was the last American remaining at the U.S. Open when he made the third round. And now has 3 tournament title victories, to his credit.
Smyczek remembers his days well, growing up learning the game at the Greendale Village Club. And now he wants to give back with Serves for Summit, and event December 6-7 with a reception and dinner on the 6th and an exhibition match at Wisconsin Lutheran College on December 7th.
