Pop Singer-Songwriter Cassie Boettcher

      Cassie Boettcher is a Milwaukee based pop singer-songwriter whose music showcases unique lyrics and catchy melodies. With the release of her EP "(philosophical) words" in February 2012, she has been compared to Sara Bareilles, Colbie Caillat, and Ingrid Michaelson.

     Cassie is a 2012 alumni of the Johnny Mercer Foundation Songwriters Project, a weeklong songwriting intensive for emerging writers held at Northwestern University in Evanston, IL. Her music has been heard in a Sprint ad as well as the recently released film, We Made This Movie (created by Rob Burnett and Jon Beckerman, executive producer and writer of the Late Show with David Letterman, creators of hit TV shows Ed and The Knights of Prosperity). Beating out 1200+ entries in an online contest, Cassie's track October Sky is featured in the film and the soundtrack, both available on iTunes.
