Topping the list of best plant-based diets is the Mediterranean diet, which focuses on fruits, vegetables, fish and wine.
Ranking best diet for weight loss is the ever popular Weight Watchers, which uses the point system and doesn't restrict any food groups.
Finding a top spot on the list for the fourth year in a row as the best overall diet is the DASH Diet, which includes portion control and balancing proteins and carbs.
What diet ranked last on the best diets list?
Experts said the Paleo Diet was too restrictive for most people to follow long-term, and it limited some essential nutrients.
Paleo and the Dukan Diet tied for last place.
The Dukan Diet is a high protein, low carbohydrate approach.
