Milwaukee puts in winning bid for the Maccabi Games

MILWAUKEE -- More than 1,000 athletes across the world will head to Milwaukee next summer.

The city put in the winning bid for the Maccabi Games, the largest gathering of Jewish teenagers in the world.

The athletes will work together to volunteer for community programs.

The opening ceremony for the games is August 2, 2015.
