MILWAUKEE -- This weekend brides can get a deal on wedding dresses while helping combat breast cancer.
The Brides Against Breast Cancer nationwide tour of gowns is in Milwaukee this Friday and Saturday. Brides will be able to find brand new or gently used gowns from 25 to 85 percent off.
"Brides can come in and they can meet with some of the best local wedding vendors," said Katie Posivack, the show manager. "And they can also browse though 500 to 600 wedding dresses that have all been donated to us."
A reception for the unveiling of the gowns is from 6 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. Friday.
Brides can shop from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday at the Hyatt Regency in Milwaukee.
Last year, Brides Against Breast Cancer raised $2 million for breast cancer support groups from around the country.
