MILWAUKEE - At the corner of Teutonia and Clarke sits Club 30 Lounge. On July 31, 2013, Milwaukee Police and agents from the Wisconsin Alcohol and Tobacco Enforcement raided the Milwaukee nightclub.
“They came in and went through the establishment for five and a half hours and they didn't leave with anything,” said Douglas Gray. Gray owns the establishment.
But unsealed warrants picked up by the I-Team revealed police surely witnessed a lot at the club. An undercover sting showed officers are investigating the acts of lewd and lascivious behavior and prostitution.
“We run a clean establishment,” explained Gray. He showed the I-Team his license to operate. The license allows for adult entertainment. But the warrant alleges dancers were completely nude and performing sex acts. The search warrant alleged graphic images from Club 30 Lounge’s Facebook page paint half of what really went on in the basement.
Images from the website show women topless and men pouring dollars on women.
“The pictures I've seen on my page are fine,” said Gray “If you see someone with a G-string, it is what it is. It's a Monday night for gentlemen.”
But the warrants showed dancers exposed themselves and would perform sex acts for cash. It also accused the club of promoting what’s labeled as “Butt Naked Mondays.” The I-Team asked Gray exactly what the promotion was about.
“It’s called gentlemen night and we have promoters,” said Gray.
