MILWAUKEE- A spot popular for its lunch buffet is still making the same mistakes in the kitchen. Inspectors find roaches, again.

China Town on Milwaukee's west side.  This restaurant on 51st and North has a bug problem. There were live baby cockroaches in the back kitchen and an adult roach in the dishwashing area. China Town was written up for this violation before. They do have paperwork from a recent visit by an exterminator. An employee told us the roaches are being delivered with boxes of food.

China Town also has a problem with hand washing. The inspector noted "no hand washing observed during all the various times it should have been." Employees also left the kitchen and came back working with food without washing their hands first. That's another repeat violation.

An employee said it's being handled. "We keep telling them 'cuz we just sit down in meeting. We got to be serious and we talk this problem already."

TODAY'S TMJ4 left a message for an owner or manager, did not hear back.
