If you prefer a stout to a Weiss beer, head to Pewaukee for a jig or two. It's Celtic Fest on Saturday on the beach. Guinness will be in large supply. The Glencastle Irish dancers will wow the crowd and U2 Zoo will be doing their best Bono and the boys impressions.
In Wauwatosa, you can take part in a 34-year tradition, Tosa Fest. It features food, drinks and 5K. A Grammy Award-winning band is even slated to play.
If you’re fested out, look no further than Greendale for some fun. The village is celebrating its 75th anniversary on Saturday. There will be a walking tour of some landmark buildings. Original homes built in the 1930s will be on display, including the model home first lady Eleanor Roosevelt visited when her husband designated Greendale as one of three greenbelt communities in the country.
