Two teens arrested after crime spree, shooting at police

CREATED Aug. 29, 2013

GREEN BAY - Two teenagers on the run from Taylor County have been arrested by Green Bay Police.

Around 11 p.m. Wednesday night GBPD got word from Taylor County law enforcement that two teen suspects, who had stolen two cars and guns in the area, could be on their way to Green Bay. The suspects had also shot at police.

Green Bay police located a car matching the description of one of the stolen cars in the 600 block of Maple Street.

Officers called for back-up to find the suspects, who were eventually located at a home on the 200 block of South Chestnut Street. Officers also found one the stolen cars near that address.

Green Bay Police took the two teen boys into custody and recovered two guns believed to be connected with the incident. No one was injured.

Because the violations occurred in Taylor, Clark, and Marathon counties, those jurisdictions will be requesting any charges, not the Green Bay Police Department.
