Two armed robberies near Marquette campus

MILWAUKEE --  Three Marquette University students were robbed near campus Sunday night.
 
Officers said two separate armed robberies happened between 1:53 and 1:57 a.m. One happened in the 1500 block of West Kilbourn Avenue and a second took place in the 900 block of North 17th Street.
 
Police said they believe the suspects are the same in both crime. In each incident, one suspect displayed a weapon and demanded property. All three victims gave up their property and the suspects fled the scene in a Black Chrysler 300, four-door sedan.
 
According to the  the Department of Public Safety, one victim sustained physical injuries but declined medical treatment. The other two victims did not sustain any physical injuries.
 
One suspect was described as a black male in his late-teens/early-20s, 5’ 10” and 160 pounds. He was wearing black jeans and a hooded sweatshirt. Another suspect was described as a black male in his late-teens/early-20s, 5’ 5” and 150 pounds. He was wearing an orange sweatshirt. The descriptions of the two other suspects were not available.
 
No arrests have been made.
