MILWAUKEE -- The president greeted several fans at the 128th Air Refueling Wing before his speech at Laborfest Monday afternoon.
And somewhere amidst the throng of people were the young ones, who tried to stand tall in the crowd. For those who did shake hands with the president, they felt like they were on top of the world.
"It was just - wow. It's so big," said Justin Smith as he saw Air Force One. "Then the stairs come up and he comes out. It's such a great experience.
Justin joined nearly 100 other friends and family of the Wisconsin National Guard's 128th Air Refueling Wing. These special greeters gave gave the president a Wisconsin welcome.
"He just said, 'how ya doing young man?' Justin said. "He shook my hand, put his arm on my shoulder and it was just cool. I mean i would never think that would ever happen to me."
The president spent 5 to10 minutes greeting people and only two hours in Milwaukee.
