GREEN BAY -- It was a jam-packed overtime with a lot of excitement, and even though it ended in a 26-26 tie, the Packers fans say it’s better than a loss.
Both Vikings and Packers fans anxiously watched the last moments of Sunday’s game. They huddled to stay warm, and held their breath. They watched as there was a late touchdown in the fourth quarter.
“I was pretty darn excited. I’m a die-hard fan. Go Pack go!” exclaimed Chris LeGrand.
But even the rare tie isn’t enough to crush Packers Backers’ playoff dreams. They tell TODAY'S TMJ4 that the tie proves that even when the Packers are playing at their worst, the Vikings are still not as good. Vikings fans were hoping for a victory. They were still happy with the tied score.
“It’s crazy. I wasn’t expecting it at all,” said one Viking fan about the tie.
So what’ll it take to get the Pack back on track?
“It really comes down to if Rodgers is going to play on Thanksgiving Day,” strategizes Packers fan Jenny Reschke. “Every game from here on out is a playoff game. They need to play like it is.”
The Packers Backers will be holding their breath again on Thanksgiving when their team faces off against the Lions.
