APPLETON - The Outagamie County Emergency Management Office recently released a report detailing the response to the Aus. 6 storms that ripped through the county.
The six-page report details how the county handled its response and includes highlights from a round-table discussion with first responders and organizations that handle disaster relief.
Some involved in the after-review report were critical of emergency management for a lack of communication with some agencies the morning of the storm. County leaders said it was a learning tool that can be used to improve safety.
The report has been passed on to a board chosen by Fox Valley Technical College, who will do an independent review of the county's response to the storms.
