GLENDALE - A tragic loss of life opened the doors to Nicolet High school weeks before the first day of fall classes. Word spread quickly on social media about the death of student Tyler Webb, who sadly took his own life. Students arrived throughout the day to meet with grief counselors.
"Like even though a lot of us don't always hang out together, we all came together just for him because he was just such an amazing guy," Suing said.
It's a difficult time for family and friends of Tyler Webb, a football player whose smile his friends will not soon forget.
The loss comes less than two years since two Nicolet high school sophomores were killed in a car accident.
"It just makes me just wanna keep pushing forward and just look up when I get my diploma and tell him that I made it," said student Michael Moore.
"I need to not take things for granted because you never know. Tomorrow could be different. You could lose like anybody, anybody," said Miller.
A memorial scholarship is already in the process of being set up.
