MILWAUKEE – Kevin Hutchins became a symbol for the Milwaukee County Sheriff's Office. Authorities claim the man exhibits telltale signs of a lack of responsibility on the road.
Hutchins led deputies on a high speed chase in October, coming to a violent halt at the Stadium Interchange.
Newly released squad car video shows Hutchins after the collision.
Hutchins faces five felony and two misdemeanor charges, according to the Sheriff’s Office, including 2nd Degree Recklessly Endangering Safety, Operator Fleeing/Elude Officer-Bodily Harm, OWI Cause Injury (2+), Battery to Emergency Rescue Worker, Bail Jumping-Felony, OWI (3rd), Resisting or Obstructing an Officer.
If convicted of all charges, he faces up to 35 years and nine months in prison.
