Milwaukee man admits he took 2 minors to Iowa

CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa (AP) -- A Milwaukee man has pleaded guilty to transporting two minors from Wisconsin to Iowa in July so they could work as prostitutes.
Robert Jackson pleaded guilty Tuesday to one count of transporting minors across state lines with the intent they engage in prostitution. Prosecutors dropped three other counts under the terms of a plea agreement.
The 31-year-old Jackson admitted that he drove two girls from Milwaukee to Cedar Rapids on July 16.
The girls were identified only as Jane Doe 1 and Jane Doe 2 and were both under 18 years of age.
Jackson remains in custody but will be sentenced at a later date. He faces a mandatory minimum sentence of 10 years.
