Man killed in West Allis industrial accident identified
WEST ALLIS - The man who died Sunday in an industrial accident has been identified as 48-year-old Billy Johnston.
A Medical Examiner's report lists the official cause of death as multiple blunt force injuries.
Johnston was working with a crew disassembling a 24,000-pound dust collector when a chain holding the collector up broke. He fell 15 feet and hit his head on the ground. Johnston was wearing a helmet, but it apparently wasn't buckled
The report says it's not clear if Johnston's primary injuries were caused by being struck in the head with the chain, or by hitting his head on the ground.
