Man accused of assaulting nursing home residents
JUNEAU -- A 64 year-old man from Watertown was in court on Monday for allegedly sexually assualting multiple people living in a nursing home, accodring to the Beaver Dam Daily Citizen.
Thomas R Spiess was charged with two counts of fourth degree sexual assualt, as well as two counts of intentionally subjecting an individual at risk to abuse. He faces up to two years in prison if convicted.
Several residents at Golden Living Center in Watertown told police that Spiess had assaulted them back in July. Residents say Spiess would come by the center a few times a week with his dog.
Spiess was given a $500 signature bond, on the condition that he not visit any nursing home or assisted living center unless he is visiting a relative. Spiess is due back in court on November 11th.
