By James Kust, Amy Burke. CREATED Apr 14, 2014 - UPDATED: Apr 15, 2014

UPDATE: US 45 northbound at Mayfair Road is now open after more than 30 vehicles, including two semi-trucks and two buses, were involved in a crash around 10:45 p.m. Monday.

According to the Milwaukee County Sheriff's Office, 30 cars had to be towed and additional ones were able to drive away from the scene.

One person complained of minor neck pain.

No other injuries were reported.

The Sheriff's Office said they responded to 43 crashes from 10 p.m. to 2 a.m, due to icy roads.

Another car accident at the Calhoun Road overpass caused parts of I-94 to be shut down. Cars and a box truck had to be towed from the scene.

The Waukesha County Sheriff's Office said the interstates became solid ice Monday night and salt trucks had to be called in to melt the ice on the roads after the collision.

Deputies said no serious injuries were reported in any of the accidents.

Both of these closures were expected to last about an hour, and the Delafield closure was reopened by 10:30 p.m.
