EAST TROY - A legendary music venue is up for sale.
The owners of Alpine Valley Music Theater have listed the amphitheater for more than 8 million dollars.
The Rolling Stones, The Grateful Dead and Coldplay are just a few of the famous musical acts that have played the venue in years past.
Michael and Sue Bong who live next to Alpine Valley say the move isn't unexpected.
"I wasn't really surprised because they haven't had very many concerts lately. " Sue Bong said.
Alpine Valley has suffered its share of tragedy.
Musician Stevie Ray Vaughn and four others were killed in a helicopter crash on the property back in 1990.
The company who leases the amphitheater says the sale will have no impact on business.
