Hartford home 'a complete loss' following fire
HARTFORD -- Several fire crews were called to a garage fire in the Town of Hartford Monday evening.
Upon arrival, deputies said the attached garage was fully engulfed and the fire was spreading to the home on Cedar Street.
Officials said while there were no people inside the home, a family cat was lost in the blaze.
The entire home suffered severe damage and is believed to be a complete loss, according to the Washington County Sheriff’s Office. Damage estimates to the home are between $200,000 and $250,000.
The cause of the fire is unknown at this time.
