MILWAUKEE - Milwaukee is offering what could become a new tradition: combining holiday music and a tree festival.
The Wisconsin Conservatory of Music kicks off its Festival of Trees and Music Thursday, Nov. 14. More than 400 guest musicians and conservatory students will perform during the festival.
The festival lasts 11 days and will take place at the conservatory's historic mansion at 1584 N. Prospect Avenue on the city's eastside. There's no admission, although a donation is encouraged and appreciated.
