By James Kust. CREATED Nov 19, 2013

WAUKESHA CO. - It's been a long journey, but this white-tailed deer killed by hunter Jim Baker back in September has now officially been certified as the non-typical archery record holder in Wisconsin.

According to the Whales-Tales Archery website, here's how the deer measures up:

  • 28 measurable points
  • 19 7/8 inch inside spread
  • 66 6/8 inches of abnormal points
  • 260 5/8 inch gross score

The deer was originally killed September 18th, but it took until this week for the record to be officially certified.
