GREENFIELD - New dash cam video has been released of a wild chase through Waukesha and Milwaukee Counties. The car chase ended with a crash at 60th and 894. The two suspects ran from the car but were caught.
It started out with Muskego Police trying to make a traffic stop for a possible drug bust last week. Behind the wheel was an 18-year-old in a red Pontiac Grand Am.
Several other squads join in with speeds hitting 60 MPH in a 40 zone on Moorland Road. Watch closely as the fleeing car crosses over into on coming traffic to avoid running over stop sticks deployed by police to end the chase.
Dash cam shows the car weaving through on coming traffic. It barely avoids a head on collision with a white truck. At this point Muskego Police shut down their pursuit.
The suspects blow through an intersection still on the wrong side of the road as a Waukesha County Sheriff squad continues to follow.
The chase moves to I-43 and then 894 with speeds up to 100 MPH.
Three squads are following as the suspects race pass cars and trucks. It ends when the driver exits 60th street and crashes near the on ramp.
One suspect has been charged with recklessly endangering safety and fleeing police.
