MILWAUKEE - Former Archbishop of Milwaukee, Timothy Dolan, is no longer the president of the US Conference of Catholic Bishops. Dolan’s three-year term expired, and a new leader was chosen.
Archbishop Joseph Kurtz of Louisville was elected Tuesday as the new president. For the next three years, he will act as the representative of the American church to the Vatican and Pope Francis.
