Camp Randall Stadium to host movie night
MADISON - Perhaps movie night at Camp Randall Stadium may not have the bone-crunching pomp and circumstance of a Big Ten Saturday in the fall, but the Wisconsin Badgers are promising something never seen before: the new HD video board in the stadium's north end zone.
Badgers fans and movie buffs can take to the turf of Camp Randall with their blankets and catch one of five movies Bucky Badger will "pick" through a Facebook contest for Wisconsin Athletics' first-ever "Movie Night at Camp Randall."
The video board will turn into a Hollywood big screen for either Despicable Me, Friday Night Lights, Oz The Great and Powerful, Remember The Titans or The Avengers.
It happens Thursday, Aug. 15 at 6:30 p.m. with the feature movie at 7:15 p.m.
The best part? It's free.
There is no official word as to whether they'll stop the movie three-fourths of the way through and do the "Jump Around."
