MILWAUKEE - While Number 8 jerseys were not front and center at the ball park’s merchandise store, loyal fans of Ryan Braun showed their support in the stands.
The outfielder received a standing ovation on his first time up to bat.
"He is going to do good he just showed us right now he just had a double,” said Jolynne Serfoss.
New this season Braun is switching positions left to right field. A move fans say is the right position for the strong armed outfielder.
Tonight’s exhibition game against the Kansas City Royals was Braun’s first time playing home since being suspended for lying about using banned performance enhancement drugs.
It was clear the outfielder came to play and fans are ready to move forward.
"I think he wants to do better because of the fans because he
needs to win the fans trust back,” says Judy Staskunas.
