Bomb squad called to West Milwaukee credit union

By James Kust. CREATED Nov 13, 2013 - UPDATED: Nov 13, 2013

WEST MILWAUKEE -  The Milwaukee County Bomb Squad was called to the Landmark Credit Union in West Milwaukee Wednesday afternoon.

The credit union is located at Miller Park Way and Lincoln in West Milwaukee. The bomb squad was called to the scene after reports of a robbery there.

A police report shows a suspect entered the bank and approached a teller with a package. The suspect asked for money, but then left and left the package behind.

Police say the suspect is an African American male, about 50 years of age with a "salt and pepper colored beard."

The bomb squad was called and determined the package was not dangerous.
