MILWAUKEE - All eastbound lanes of I-894 on the Mitchell Interchange were closed Tuesday afternoon after two semis crashed, causing one of them to jack-knife.
One of the semis was leaking fuel, according to the Milwaukee County Sheriff's Department.
"It's always frustrating but especially with all the construction going on everyday and to have this accident happen, but I guess that's what you get when you have to commute," said Mark Miller who was driving late for picking up a shipment in Franklin.
"I don't even know what's going on. You know, the sign said something about a ramp being closed. You know, that's all they give ya," said Dave Niemi who said he was rushing to get home to his family and an afternoon football game.
The closure lasted for several hours.
