Milwaukee restaurant owner shot Friday morning

MILWAUKEE - A resturant owner was shot during a robbery attempt at Juto Asian Fusion restaurant in Milwaukee Friday morning.
It happened just before 4:00 a.m. near West Virginia Avenue and South 6th Street.
The restaurant’s owner was shot after he armed himself with a handgun and confronted the suspects inside of the restaurant. The suspects then fled from the restaurant on foot. The victim, a 30-year-old male from Milwaukee, was conveyed to a local hospital for treatment of a non-life threatening injury.
Milwaukee Police Lieutenant Mark Stanmeyer stated that the suspects are not in custody and the investigation is ongoing.
