Water main break closes Brookfield school

BROOKFIELD - St. Dominic's Catholic School reported a water main break early Monday morning.
The water to the school is still operable, and it appears students reported to school as usual Monday.
According to repair crew, the only problem found so far due to the water main break is with the ground under one small part of the driveway.
The school will be closed at 11:30 a.m. due to the water main break.
The school released a statement to parents Monday morning -
DEAR PARENTS-EXTREMELY IMPORTANT!
DUE TO A WATER MAIN BREAK AND NO ACCESS TO WATER FOR MOST OF THE DAY, THE SCHOOL WILL BE CLOSING AT 11:30 TODAY.
BUSES WILL BE HERE AT 11:30 TO TAKE STUDENTS HOME. MENOMONEE FALLS BUSES WILL HAVE DIFFERENT DRIVERS SO PLEASE BE PATIENT.
IF YOUR CHILD IS CAR, PLEASE PICK UP YOUR CHILD ON THE CAPITOL DRIVE SIDE AT 11:30 TODAY.
BUSES WILL BE DISMISSED FIRST AS USUAL, THEN CAR STUDENTS.
ALL AFTER SCHOOL ACTIVITIES WILL BE CANCELLED FOR TODAY.
TEACHERS AND STAFF WILL BE HERE TO HELP WITH THE STUDENTS.
PARENTS-PLEASE ASSIST US IN CONTACTING PARENTS/FRIENDS.
