Two in custody after gunfire near UW-Madison's campus

MADISON - Two suspects are in custody after a a shot was fired near UW-Madison's campus Wednesday evening. Nobody was injured.
The suspects are two males, aged 17 and 18. They have been detainted but not arrested, according to the Madison Police Department.
An initial report from police suggests a 19-year-old man was robbed at gunpoint by the two suspects. A friend, or friends, of the victim then chased the suspects on foot toward Langdon Street, where one round was fired by one of the suspects.
The university described one suspect as a black male wearing black clothing, and wearing a black and white baseball cap, black jacket, and dark backpack.
Shortly after the robbery and gunfire, UW-Madison told students and faculty to stay safe on its official Twitter account:
