MILWAUKEE - A huge pack of bike riders caught people's attention in Milwaukee Thursday night.
It wasn't because of their numbers, but because of their lack of clothes. Turns out, it's also completely legal.
Steve Roche is the organizer of Milwaukee's underwear bike ride. Roche puts them together once a month during the summer.
He said riders donate their clothes to a local charity and then hit a course that winds through some of some of the busiest streets in Milwaukee.
Some people said while they'd be shocked at the sight, they're not opposed to the idea.
"Bras and underwear is just like a bikini," said Sherry Franklin. The woman was walking on Brady Street when she heard about the ride.
"You just see how different every person is and it's a beautiful thing," said Roche. He believes the rides promote positive body image and the cycling community in Milwaukee.
Milwaukee Police say what riders are wearing is not any different than a bathing suit. A spokesman said there were no issues with riders during Thursday night's ride.
Another is scheduled for August 15th, 2013
