Three hurt when ambulance rolls over
FOND DU LAC - An ambulance has been involved in a rollover crash Wednesday, according to the Fond du Lac Sheriff's Department.
Meriter Hospital in Madison tells TODAY'S TMJ4's Charles Benson that three people were hurt in the crash.
It happened in the early afternoon at Highway 26 near Willow Creek Road.
Five people were on board. They were heading out to pick up a baby in a non-emergency situation.
The hospital says that a doctor suffered a serious head injury and was taken by helicopter to a hospital.
A nurse and a therapist were hurt, but the hospital said their injuries were not serious.
No patients were on board when the crash happened.
The State DOT says that the accident scene was cleared at about 1:50 p.m.
