Court for man accused of new sex assault allegations against young girls

WAUKESHA – A man accused of enticing a young girl selling lemonade faced a court commissioner on Thursday.

Gregory Davis, 59, of Waukesha, told police he was drunk when he saw two young girls toting a wagon full of lemonade in early June.

One girl tells TODAY’S TMJ4’s Cody Holyoke the man started hugging and kissing her 10-year-old friend.

”He started saying, ‘You’re so beautiful, and I love you. You should marry me,” said the girl.

It doesn’t end there. Investigators dropped a bombshell in court Thursday when they found this wasn’t the first time Davis had approached young girls.

Police maintain the man visited another lemonade stand, just days before.

A Waukesha woman snapped photos of Davis. She says the man tried to steal a kiss. Police noticed a disturbing pattern.

“Let’s face it. We all want to live in America where kids can have lemonade stands. We don’t want our kids subject to people going around and sexually assaulting our kids,” said Lt. Jerry Habanek of the Waukesha Police Department.

Davis’ defense attorney asked for bond to be reduced. The court commissioner refused after learning of the new allegations.

Davis is charged with child enticement, which carries a maximum prison sentence of 25 years.
