Ottawa man dies in single-vehicle crash Monday night
OTTAWA - A 20-year-old man is dead after a late-night crash Monday night.
According to the Waukesha County Sheriff's Office, four people were in a car when it crashed just before 10:30 p.m. Two people sitting in the back seat were taken to a local hospital, along with the 20-year-old driver.
The 20-year-old front seat passenger, identified as Trevor Thomas of Ottawa, was pinned inside the car and died at the scene. He was not wearing a seatbelt.
According to the sheriff, alcohol does not appear to be a factor in the crash, but it remains under investigation by the Waukesha County Sheriff’s Department.
