GREENFIELD - Ron Fowler has three words to describe his drive home after he ran an errand on South 76th Street.
"It was scary," said Fowler to TODAY'S TMJ4's Shannon Sims.
"I waited, then I edged a little bit. Just as I got the nose out, a guy coming north changed lanes, coming right in the lane toward me."
Fowler was attempting to make a left hand turn onto I-894 eastbound.
The problem: trees planted in the median obstructed Fowler's view.
"It is definitely a safety hazard that should be addressed," explained Fowler.
We contacted the City of Greenfield Director of Community Planning and Development, Charles Erickson.
He was unaware of the issue, but assured us he would have a crew to check it Thursday morning.
Meanwhile, Fowler hopes something is done sooner than later.
