Sheboygan church has some new faces

SHEBOYGAN - Man's best friend's been invited to sit in the pews of one Sheboygan church.

Over the past couple of months, Rev. Ann Bullis at Wesley United Methodist Church had something to consider.

After services one day, she tells the Sheboygan Press that a boy asked if he could bring his pet to church.

Bullis' faith tells her that dogs do go to heaven, so she thought, why not?

Already, a handful of people have taken her up on the offer.

New faces include two Bichon Frises, Libby and Dolly, and a Golden Retriever named Diego.

Pastor Bullis says for years she's been preaching over kids in the 9am service, so now she's also preaching over dogs.
