MILWAUKEE- A racy tradition returns to a south side bar.
It was a celebration of sorts at Holler House Tavern as cow bells rang for each bra hoisted to the ceiling.
"I have gotten some really serious bars off of women. A regular by the name "Pooh" said. "Some from Victoria Secrets that is hard to do."
Two month ago this bar's ceiling ornaments of choice were forced to come down after a city inspector determined the hanging brassieres were a fire hazard .
"You see the first time the girls come in they have to take bra off sign it and hang it up. " said Marcy Skowronski.
Skowronski said she's been collecting bras for 45 years. Skowronski was determined to fight the ruling and won.
Friday, the fabric of the bar was been woven back into the ceiling in colors of neon, leopard, red white and blue... ..A ,B, C , and DD. The variety is endless.
" I think its an awesome Milwaukee tradition and it should just continue forever. " said John Lebach.
