Deputies bust Brown County prostitution ring
HOWARD, Wis. -- The Brown County Sheriff's Department reports 21 people have been taken into custody in connection with an alleged prostitution ring in Brown County including the Howard-Suamico areas. According to a news release, 17 women and four men were arrested after the sting operation.
The suspects' ages range from 18 to 50 and face charges of prostitution, failure to obtain escort registration and /or license, obstructing a police officer and other counts.
Investigators say they are still going over the evidence and are not releasing any additional information at this time.
