MILWAUKEE - The Wisconsin Center District is looking for a new name sponsor after Delta Airlines said they would drop the sponsorship for the convention center.

The location, on Wisconsin Avenue in Downtown Milwaukee, will be named the 'Wisconsin Center,' according to Wisconsin Center District chairman Franklyn Gimbel.

"We're going to brand that building as the 'Wisconsin Center,'" Gimbel explained.  "If a (business) is willing to make it economically attractive to us, we'll combine their name with ours."

The building was previously known as the Midwest Airlines Center and Frontier Airlines Center after Frontier took over the previously Milwaukee-owned airline.
