Wisconsin teenager found dead in Utah canyon
SALT LAKE CITY (AP) -- Family members of a Wisconsin college student say his body was found below the rim of a canyon off Interstate 70 in central Utah.
Emery County deputies notified his parents that 19-year-old Donovan Campbell apparently slipped and fell 300 feet.
The St. Paul Pioneer Press reports that Campbell's body was found Saturday in a ravine of Eagle Canyon.
He had driven his Ford Ranger pickup from his home in River Falls, Wis., for a visit to the Utah canyons.
His parents reported him missing April 8.
Campbell was a sophomore at the University of Wisconsin at River Falls.
His body has been sent to the Utah medical examiner's office. Eagle Canyon is about 140 miles southeast of Salt Lake City.
