OAK CREEK - A Milwaukee-area salon served up some cool styles this weekend, all while helping in the fight against cancer.
Roots Salon hosted its sixth-annual "Cuts for a Cause," taking donations and hair for childhood cancer patients.
One young girl there stole the show and gave a great example for others.
Little Molly Ferguson donated seven inches of her hair.
"It feels like short hair...I like the look," Molly told TODAY'S TMJ4.
The cuts were free, with plenty of strangers lending their locks for others.
"It's for friends, families, for all ages. They get to experience something together and be able to just give back to the community," explained Marcella Reed of Roots Salon.
The donations helped Children's Hospital and the Penfield Children's Center.
