UWGB coach subject of investigation

GREEN BAY, Wis. -- Men's basketball coach Brian Wardle is the subject of an investigation into allegations of mistreating his players.
NBC26 has confirmed UWGB Chancellor Thomas Harden received a letter from the parents of a former men's basketball player Ryan Bross, complaining that he was verbally and emotionally abused by the coach.
Bross, a 7'1" walk-on from Menominee Falls has left the program and plans to enroll to Concordia University in Mequon.
The letter was received on Tuesday and an outside investigator will be looking into the complaint.
Harden says Wardle will be allowed to continue working during the investigation.
Wardle issued a statement on the matter. "I will be supportive of this process and I’m confident in the findings. I will have no further comment until it is concluded."
The former Marquette basketball star just finished his third season as head coach of the Phoenix. His team finished 18-15, tied for third in the Horizon League. His overall record of 47-48.
