GRAFTON - Recent rain has left much of Southeast Wisconsin under water
It's hard to tell where the road ends and the water starts outside Brianna Klugiewicz's home in Grafton.
"It was a lot worse earlier today when it was still raining, trying to get my little Corolla over that," she said. "Yeah, that's going to work out well.”
You still have to hop over mounds of ice left from winter just to get to Klugiewicz's soggy backyard, where sandbags are already set up.
"That's our first little pile," she added. "So that's just the beginning of it."
Across Southeast Wisconsin, the water is rising. At Klugiewicz's house, you'd be better off with a canoe than a car. And with more rain on the way, it's a wait and see game that's not over yet.
"Yeah, oh my gosh," she said. "My dad's one of ten so we've got family coming."
