MILWAUKEE - It has been a year since a Milwaukee man was murdered just outside his south side apartment.
On Saturday, family and friends took to the streets, looking for Justin Kohen's killer.
Rick Kohen, the victim's father, leads the way as others knock on doors, asking neighbors if they can recall anything that might help the cold case of the young man he describes as kind and generous to everybody.
Justin Kohen was stabbed on the 22-hundred block of 16th Street in April of 2012.
One woman says she saw Kohen bleeding on the ground and then drove him to the hospital.
He died six days later.
Now, Rick Kohen hopes this new canvass will uncover new information.
Rick Kohen says, "Even if it's something small, it doesn't matter. That sometimes is enough to get investigators going in the right direction. MPD is working as hard as they can but they can't work on something that's not there, so we need leads."
